The clouds were soft today, drifting slowly. Delfino was watching the sky, but his posture was stiff—like his thoughts were heavier than the air.
Slothy (joining him quietly): “You’ve been doing that stare-against-the-sky thing again.”
Delfino: “Yeah. It’s the only place that doesn’t ask anything of me.”
Slothy: “Long week?”

Delfino: “Long year. Honestly… I’m tired of being the guy who always holds it together.”

Slothy: “You don’t talk about that often.”
Delfino: “Because when I do, people say, ‘But you’re so strong.’ Like that’s the end of the conversation.”
Slothy: “Strength isn’t about hiding. It’s about knowing when to let someone in.”

Delfino: “What if letting someone in makes me look weak?”
Slothy: “Then you let the wrong person in. Real ones see the weight and offer to carry it.”
Delfino (quietly): “There’s so much I never say. Because I don’t even know where to begin.”

Slothy: “Then begin here. With me. With anyone who makes you feel safe.”
Delfino: “Even if it’s messy?”
Slothy: “Especially if it’s messy.”
🌟 A Message from Soulamore:
Some men carry so much they never talk about. Because they were raised to be tough, quiet, and unshakeable.
But emotional weight doesn't get lighter when you carry it alone.
At Soulamore, we’re making it easier to speak the unspeakable—through quiet support, safe spaces, and real conversations. Start with someone who’s walked a similar path: Our Peers Or begin without words, in the Confession Box
Because unspoken pain still weighs the heart.
